Who is the Retreat for?
For women who live in New England and are currently undergoing treatment, have completed treatment or are living with recurrent ovarian cancer. There is space for 35 women.
What will we be doing?
Turning the Tide 2022 Retreat will combine recreation and relaxation through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, art projects, entertainment, and free time. Many wonderful things are offered throughout the time, and participants are encouraged to take part in as many of them as they are up to—but everything is optional. You are free to rest in your room or chat with a new friend anytime. There will be a variety of activities to choose from each day. Activities may include hiking, creative projects, yoga, dancing, singing, and complementary therapies, such as massage, reflexology and facials. There will be a licensed social worker for private and group discussion. There are outdoor challenge activities available to try under the guidance of trained instructors. There is a sauna and hot tub as well!
